Joe Pearson - Custom Wood Turner and DesignerAll pieces are uniquely handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items, built to enhance the beauty of the wood. The wood is aged over a period of time to insure proper drying, at which time it is then carefully hand selected to be created into a beautiful piece of artwork most anyone would be proud to display in their home. With proper care, this handcraft will be a lasting work of beauty.Joe Pearson is a third generation wood turner learning under the watchful eye of his Father Byrd Pearson and Grandfather Essie Nathan Pearson.Joe started in the wood business at a very young age, sweeping floors at his father’s cabinet shop, Pearson Cabinet & Supply, Inc. which Joe now owns and operates.Joe has always been very good in creating beautiful wood artwork.  In fact, every year people call to place their name on a waiting list for the beautiful jewelry and money boxes Joe builds at Christmas time.Although Joe has been turning on the lathe for over 35 years. He has most recently been concentrating his talents to his lathe work and has turned some spectacular wooden bowls, vases, goblets, and platters.Joe certainly has a passion for his wood designs and you can see it when you look at distinctly beautiful, masterfully created art pieces.
